The core of the site is freely shared inspiration; no paywalls block the stories, no subscriptions lock the maps. This policy covers the rare paid elements, such as premium digital guides, event tickets we occasionally resell for local partners, or donations that unlock extra content. Refunds are handled with the same honesty we bring to every sunset description.
Digital Products
Once a downloadable guide or photo pack leaves our server and lands on your device, the journey is yours. Because files can be copied in seconds, we generally do not offer refunds after delivery. If the file is corrupted or the link fails, send proof within 48 hours and we replace it immediately, no charge. Previews are always available; read them like a menu before ordering.
Event Tickets and Partner Bookings
Some experiences, like a small-group wine harvest day or a street-food walking tour, are organized by local operators we trust. We act as the middleman, passing your payment straight through minus a small handling fee. Cancellation terms follow the partner’s rules, which we display clearly on the booking page. Most allow full refunds up to 30 days before, partial up to 7 days, and nothing closer unless weather or force majeure steps in. We advocate for you if plans collapse on their end.
Donations and Support
Choosing to fuel the site with a donation is a high-five, not a transaction. These gifts keep the servers humming and the cameras clicking. Because they are voluntary and immediately fund new content, donations are non-refundable. If a technical glitch double-charges you, contact us with the receipt and we reverse the extra within one business day.
Processing Errors
Mistakes happen, double clicks, fat fingers, rogue browsers. If we charge you for something you didn’t intend, notify us within 24 hours with the transaction ID. We reverse the full amount, no questions, no restocking fee. Refunds land back on the original card or account in 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank’s mood.
Currency and Taxes
Prices appear in US dollars. Any conversion fees or taxes your bank adds are outside our control and non-refundable. We don’t hide VAT or service charges; what you see at checkout is what you pay.
How to Request a Refund
Send a quick note explaining the issue. Include order number, date, and a screenshot if something looks off. We review every request manually, usually replying within 48 hours unless the team is chasing a festival in a remote valley with spotty signal. Approved refunds process the same day we confirm.
Changes to This Policy
If the way we handle money evolves, maybe new types of paid experiences, we update the policy here and timestamp the change. Active purchases follow the rules in place when you clicked “pay.”
